¡Hola! Me llamo Dana Neel.
My name is Dana Neel. I have been a Spanish teacher at Coronado High School in the Clark County School District for the past 8 years, but have decided to take a couple of years off to stay at home with my two young children. I am currently the coach of the Coronado High School Women's soccer team. I have been tutoring students for 9 years with measurable results. My experience teaching Spanish and working with teenagers has helped me to develop strategies that benefit all types of learners.
I have been in the shoes of the high school Spanish student. When I was in high school I began my path to becoming fluent in Spanish. I learned Spanish exactly like most high school students do. After high school I decided to continue with the language and began my degree at Southern Utah University. It was not until taking my first trip abroad that I realized that I had actually retained much of what I had learned in my years in high school. Since those days of sitting in my high school classroom, I have spent time in México, Ecuador, Perú and Bolivia.
